1. Bec the whole song/single is an advertisement for that icecream brand. Its like Lollipop of BBx2ne1. They too never performed it

2. They have a planned live perf with selena comming up. Maybe they're reserving that moment when they finally perform on live year end award shows in US

lol I just found out the BP concert came on yesterday and the only thing I wanted to search for was the Ice Cream performance. Damn.

Not to sound like a hater but the song is too vocally challenging and it seemed like they wanted to sing live for all the concert so it was probably best to keep the song off the setlist.

Still cannot comprehend how they omit both Ice Cream and Bet You Wanna yet performed Sour Candy. I slightly wanna send a truck

Selena just had too many parts which will make them look like a dance team if they didnt sang her parts. And it will be weird if they perform BYW and not perform IC so they ended up not performing both. Kick it, See U later and Really should have been included in the setlist and replace PWF or AIIYL.

I think Jennie having to hit those E5s live might play a small role. She never did the same note live for D4, but the E5 note in Ddu Ddu Dddu Du is in a good place to dodge it. You can't really dodge that note where it is in Ice Cream. You can kind of hear her struggling to hit it in the studio recording as it is.

I actually like the song and wish they did it too. That's just my opinion because it's literally the only thing I can think of as to why they didn't do it.

I didn't miss it, that song is way too "cute" for me, and the double-entendres too obvious.

maybe Jisoo's own anti-cute allergies were bothering her.

"Kick It" + "Really" are those tracks that can reach its full potential performed live, especially if their is options for it to reworked with a live band. They already are concert songs where the they can be free + hype (Kick It) or laid back + open (Really) with audience engagement. I wonder if they felt as if it wouldnt as strong as it could through a virtual streaming.

but for real, it would of great to see some version of "ice cream". even a dance mix would of been fly.

honesty I think it may be because they knew how badly received it was combined with having a set time frame to perform all their set. When it came down to it, they had to play the songs that were expected as well as the new tracks to make the best show possible for the fans. 🤷‍♀️

The E5 is the "wait" note in the "now wait til I do, hit you with that dududududu" line. It's dodged in that live as well, just backing track sadly.

They do have stable vocals compared to most of their peers (excluding vocal-oriented groups like mamamoo).
They also rely less on extremely loud backing tracks compared to many groups. They don't get enough credit for that.

Still, Ice Cream was written by Ariana Grande, which speak to its difficulty in places lol.
