Like it’s one thing to not want to acknowledge that Twice were a wall for a couple of years amongst the 3rd Gen, even 4th Gen period and did some excellent things for themselves, including becoming a whole NGG. Speaking from experience, I remember it also took so long for majority of Kpop fans to admit that BTS is the #1 current BG, a lot of them were still in denial and called BTS as just a trend, up until 2017/2018. So I think it's just the norm tbh.

Mamamoo is bigger than Gfriend. Gfriend had a big peak but became fads since what 2017? Mamamoo started flopping only from aya onwards. Way more longevity. Mamamoo is the 3rd biggest gg of 3rd gen in digitals overall.

Mamamoo really let all their hype from Hip die when they release Aya and Where are we now. They have been steadily decreasing since then. Who knows maybe they will bounce back but right now I think twice and blackpink are equally big. Twice and blackpink both excel in their own respective territory. Like twice with Japan and Blackpink with America. That's just my opinion. And for Gfriend, they really could have became bigger if they didn't disband. That's all I have to say on this matter.
