SNSD and Twice! I think teen crush and cute is making a little bit of a comeback after a girl crush era. I think that Twice's older songs could go viral on some platforms, especially the dances (as we've seen for What is Love)

They'd dominate the variety game in a very short time as the unequaled variety queens they are and thus win the hearts and minds of the Korean general public very quickly, and they'd show to be a top tier allround group, that has top vocalists, strong, versatile dance ability and strong stage presence, while effortlessly owning a wide range of diverse concepts.

Additionally, people'd notice that SNSD have ace vocalists, ace dancer(s), ace visual(s), and ace variety queen(s). In short, covering the whole range of important idol areas.

I'm pretty sure f(x) would be a lot more popular if they debuted nowadays.

SNSD imo, out of all popular Kpop GG I've seen, they're the most versatile in terms of concept and songs genre, so I think they would adjust well. And their visuals work just fine with current time as well.

What is Love kinda outview Taste of Love on daily basis right now. I am curious to see how cute Twice will perform in this day and age. Imagine What is Love is released in 2021.

True, variety talents were a really big thing in 2nd gen era and a lot of groups were pretty good at it, which made all the interactions between the various groups and members of different groups really enjoyable to watch (Invincible Youth, Star King etc :D:P ).

But sadly enough, variety as an important aspect along with cross group collaborations declined from 3rd gen hence.
