Also Jennie is Korean and has so many cfs only hwasa competes with her in sk rn. It must be close to a dozen now. She's taken like 4 endorsements from the current cf queen Bae Suzy alone.

Koreans love Sana. She could've been huge/still could be if JYPE starts promoting her right. Plus, Nickhun was an It boy as well. It depends on the idol imo but usually koreans do prefer natives over foreigners.

it could just be that no foreign idol fits their "criteria" to become the it girl/boy? there's a lot of foreigner yes, but still, most idols are korean
