For people who are sad that JYP is producing Twice's title track :)

Lots of people hate JYP and I know he inserts himself where he doesn't need to be sometimes but JYP is the dorkiest guy and I can't help but love him

I love JYP so i don't feel sad

the teaser sounds good so far tho so it feels like a bop already

Personally i don't really like i can't stop me but yeah i do like many songs produced by jyp. The music in the trailer we have heard sounds promising though. With jyp our concern should be if he will maike song that is in range for girls to sing. Like Nayeon had to lie down to deliver her line coz it was too high for recording i can't stop me. i hope he is listening to fans complaints.

I dont have problem with JYP songs, never.

Songs are either good or trash no matter who makes it. Twice is just going to turn trash into gold mine

This is the first time he has solo composed and wrote lyrics for a TWICE song. There is one other song that has the exact same team (JYP for Lyrics/Composition and Lee Hae-sol for arrangement) is When We Disco, which I personally didn't really like.

All the Twice songs you mentioned are crap or middling at best.

What Is Love is the other song with only JYP with lyrics and composition credits, but a shared credit with the arrangement.

There's a definite difference for me between the JYP of old and the JYP of now. He has certain genres he does as well as anyone out there and it's why JYPE became a part of the big 3 in the first place but as he veers more away from it his music has become worse.

As much as I criticise the company and his involvement in the group, he was once upon a time my favourite kpop producer/writer, before Twice were even a thing. His work with Rain/god/2pm early on was great but in my mind he is burnt out and hasn't make good music for a while. The guys ego is such that even as he becomes detrimental to his groups he'll still insert himself at every opportunity to keep his name out there, he loves the idea of his own personal longevity and continuing to be relevant. There is a common theory that when JYPE is more involved in a song the budget/promotion follows and there's a reason for that.

You honestly think about it and BEP made Twice's Korean breakout song in Cheer Up, their Japanese break out song in TT and their western breakout song in Fancy. JYP picked up pieces in between for easy wins when it came to Twice post-debut. Even then he nearly screwed it and ran back to BEP after Signal. Signal and WiL getting put forward for SOTY awards at MAMA when Twice had other songs do better in each year is a prime example of his ego and both times got him another notch on his belt at the expense of Twice just getting trashed for buying awards. Knock Knock wins in 2017 and it's not a big deal.

Producers hit and miss and that's fine but I think what annoys me more than anything else when I see him involved in Twice's music is you just know he's more about getting himself an achievement with the famed "JYPE" panel swinging his way when he really wants it. There's definitely no objectivity when he insert himself.

Wut? WIL has the best bridge/outro in Kpop. Can you get more iconic than Dubchaeng's best rap verses, Nayeon and Jihyo singing the emotional climax of the song, and the final dance outro?
