I get the feeling that a S Korean IT girl has to have visuals that are warm and approachable and many of the candidates mentioned are very beautiful but more in a cold chic supermodel manner and that might lead to an emotional disconnect with the S Korean public. People can objectively appreciate their visuals but just don't feel warm or attached to them.
Weeekly girls have visuals but also features that seem really friendly and welcoming.

I dunno if Arin is 3rd or 4th gen but she's popular.
Im placing my bets on
1. wonyoung (definitely. As long as she picks a good company. I have no doubt about her)
2. Winter/Karina (depends if sm gives them proper promo like Irene or wastes their potential like jyp did with tzuyu)
3. Soyeon/Yoon (They seem more alternative compared to the traditional sk standard of idol but they have that it factor.)

Honestly speaking imo 4th gen isn't even big, visible, noticeable or making buzz enough yet to talk about It boy or girl for this generation plus not all groups for 4th gen have debuted yet (bhngg, ygngg, etc) so it's hard to tell. Pretty sure it will be idols from big3 plus maybe bighit plus some visuals from smaller groups.

Karina already top twice in brr june/july and she got #4 in august. Mind to tell u that the top 20-25 were all 2nd and 3rd gen and only aespa in tht rank. So no need to argue. Did wonyoung ever get number 1 for two and half yrs of debut, or yuna? So if not by brr, how we can measure the it girl thingy. Same with jenni or hwasa. So i think we should focus on tht as evidences. Because some of us only depends on international hype or global but didn't act knows wht matters is korean.
