Exactly. I completed building my own PC recently, and am not happy that I was forced to purchase a Ryzen 9 3950X and RTX 2060 because current generation parts were simply not available at normal prices. At least I was able to get the SSDs I wanted.

Did you actually get an RTX 2060 for a normal price? In a normal market, it would probably be a $250 GPU with the RTX 3060 at an MSRP of $320 and the RTX 2060 Super somewhere in between.

Good point! My Asus RTX 2060 cost the equivalent of roughly USD$400, which is what the card cost when it was released over two years ago. However, I just checked, and people are now selling RTX 2060s for over double that amount (I completed my build in February). This is ridiculous; I've been a PC enthusiast since the late 1990s (when I was still a minor), and I have never seen anything like this before!

You got a GREAT deal lol. I remember seeing a Founders Edition RTX 2060 Super at my local Bestbuy for 400 bucks right before the GPU shortage struck. I was like this shit is way overpriced, the 3060TI is coming out for the same price, 400 bucks.
