I think they might join June bloodbath or early July promotions that Joy could get at least 1 free week for regeneration before work on drama set.

obviously they are already on the solo activities stage on their careers. there is no turning back on this, there never was.
fans assume a comeback this year, but i think it's a 50/50 chance. depending on the contract they allegedly have to re-sign. i think Irene is eager to move on to a solo life, and so are most members.

That would be a bad move for Irene to go solo at this moment. She herself has yet to prove that she can be received well and disassociating from RV will do harm no good to her.
iirc they have a comeback planned, so that one's probably in the next few months.
Also Seulgi & Irene's debut sold better than Mamamoo's group sales, and Wendy's sales - even with SM limiting the available stock - did very well and is bound to do even better than the sales of most full girl groups, incl Mamamoo, (G)I-dle and Red Velvet themselves.
So that's not bad at all in terms of success (aside from Wendy proving with this comeback once again that she's 1 of the very few unique, outstanding power house vocals of this K-pop gen).
RV members having their individual activities, that isn't saying anyting about their group activities and comebacks: SNSD had Taeyeon get awarded as an OST queen and Yoona as lead actress in the most popular soap series as early as 2008, and this mix of SNSD group comebacks and the individual members having their solo activities continued throughout the entire career of SNSD.

Stating the obvious, namely that there are different types of success: Seulgi & Irene's sub-unit outselling full group sales like Mamamoo's and basically all other groups except for BP, TWICE and IZ*One, is impressive on its own. And it looks like Wendy with her solo debut is about to do the same.
So if you like people to keep 'that in mind', their superbly successful album sales should be included too, else you just sound shady af.
