Sexy concept is dead for some reason. 2nd Gen had crazy sexy concepts but for some reason, Korea turned into a freaking prude. Now idols get bashed or scrutinized for showing an inch of cleavage. yeah, sexy concept is dead but back in the days lots of small nugu companies were forcing and threatening female idols to do overly sexy & inappropriate concept maybe that affected? even boygroups had more mature concept imo, i mean masculine concept is also dead now,
This is true to agree. Lots of sexy 2nd-3rd gen girl groups we come to like were forced to do this concept nor did they like it. It’s kinda like how the whole cute concept is pushed to men. I remember girls day wearing diapers on stage.
Anyway, times have changed and concepts and what stood out then is different now. A lot of the trainees are younger and with how K-pop has grown over time none of the stuff that was acceptable then wouldn’t be allowed now.
I love and miss sexy concept too but after what Stellar members revealed that they went through most kpop companies with common sense probably won't use this type of concept to avoid controversy. I think currently Black Swan is the only group doing it.

I used to love their music but stopped listening to them as soon as the truth came out. I was mostly refering to groups like SIST4R or EXID, with adult women that knew what they were in for and genuinely seemed to like what they did.

People mentioning age lots of groups debut with adult members like sistar bp and Aespa (ningning was already 18) so it can happen but I think company don’t see profit in it maybe bc it’s hard to get a fandom with that concept and if you don’t blow up at the highest level it’s hard to make money.. maybe with brave girls success we’ll see more of them

Sexy concepts are riskier, which group with sexy concept had a big fandom? They depend on the public too much. It's just normal companies prefer to go for safer concepts where at least if the public doesn't support they have a fandom. And concepts go for trends anyway.
