Who does better stages and performances? Girl Groups or Boy Groups?

Girl groups do it better.

Depend on the groups more than the gender itself...

But I can think of more great performers boygroups than girlgroups.

I always say this and I'm being honest, I love some bgs and their music and BB are my bias alongside BP, but GGs are the heart of kpop in any sense! Since 1st gen these queens are conquering more and more and delivering bops, cute stages, cool stages, everything!!! Pretty girls ftw!!

For bgs is like you said, imo a few grabs my attention enough for me to watch their performances.

I don't enjoy GG dances at all so unfortunately that kills all enthusiasm for their performances.

Companies are so focused on making their female idols look pretty they don't give them choreos that are interesting. I know the girls can dance but the management has other priorities.

I don't think it's a fair comparison. I only vote for girls, because I know more girl groups, but boy groups have more stamina, and I think they have better production as well. Not to mention, much less limitation. Girls can't do much on stage, unless their name is KIM YONGSUN and they don't give a fck about anyone!😂

BGs have better performances than ggs most of the time.

Bgs put more effort into theatrics, they have much more stamina, they are more synchronised, they have better dancers and better rappers most of the time.

I am a girl group stan so I am naturally going to answer girl groups but it really depends on the group. It would be mixed if I had to do a top 10 of my favorite performers.

I mean depends on the group doesn’t it? But the top “BG”s are better than the top “GG’s”

So bigbang was better than the YG GG’s. EXO is better than RV or aespa. 17 are much better LSFM/NJ/ILLIT. SKZ are much better than ITZY or even nmixx.

But the “average” of GG’s is higher I think. There are a lot of terrible BG’s.

I don’t consider those as top BGs. And that’s the point I was trying to make. And said on average GG’s are better but if you take BG’s that are considered “huge” like say exo or bigbang or 17 or BTS ppl will generally regard these groups as being much better performers than any GG.

You didn't ask to me, but I think GOT7 are indeed better performers than TWICE, even though the later are not bad either.

I don't think Winner are better than BLACKPINK, but iKON ot7 used to me – I feel like they lost the spark when B.I left for some reason. TREASURE and BAEMON are pretty equal imo, both are very good.

I’ll say Winner’s live vocals are amazing as someone who has seen them. BLACKPINK benefits from great choreo. Winner doesn’t really have that; they’re a vocal-based group, kinda like Mamamoo.

My problem with Winner is that I feel like they kinda lack charisma and don't have a strong presence on stage despite their good live vocals. Bigbang, 2ne1 and Mamamoo are not choreo-based either, but they always know how to pull off a show.
