I think it's just everywhere in the Global North. You have the first Fascist party in power in Italy since the death of Benito Mussolini. The largest party in Austria right now is a far-right party that was founded by an SS officer who was a member of the Reichstag in Nazi Germany. The Fascists did really well in the recent Portuguese election, tho Portugal is not as surprising since the Fascist dictatorship of the Estado Novo only ended in the 1970s.
Germany, France, Netherlands and Spain also have growing Fascist movements.

I'm not surprised this is happening. People vote for opposition when your previous choices, that are currently in power, fail you. Except in my country, that is. we are always complaining (as we should) and yet our authoritarian idiot cannot stop winning.

Yeah, tho in the case of the USA we don't really have an opposition party. Both parties here serve a lot of the same interests. It's completely legal to do political bribery as long as you follow legal guidelines like properly disclosing it etc. Really wealthy people, corporations etc make tons of legal donations to politicians or setup Political Action Committees to support specific candidates. At the local city level, the people with the biggest influence on local politics are usually the biggest landowners in the area.
Even foreign governments are allowed to give money to US politicians, just some examples:
