  • Which Snsd Member drew you in to Snsd? 59

The result is only visible to the participants.

...who is/was your bias and why?

Which member(s) got you interested in Snsd?

    What introduced you to Kpop?

My bias was Yoona at first, because I had watched her drama Prime Minister and I and I got curious about her. Then I found out she was Snsd, same as Jessica whose sister Krystal acted in The Heirs and I enjoyed the drama as well. That's how it all started.

CMIYC was my first Snsd MV I watched and then The Boys sealed the deal. Now I'm Sone.

So basically, Kdramas and Idol Actresses introduced me to Kpop.

  • Sooyoung is and will always be my answer when it comes to kpop and snsd

She's so entertaining. I feel like you can't be bored when you're around her.

  • I follow them since pre-debut, so technically, it was Taeyeon and Yoona, but I don't think I could name anyone as a reason. Before SNSD I only cared about boy groups, like G.O.D., Bigbang, Super Junior.

My TOP5 bias is: Taeyeon, Seohyun, Yoona, Hyo and Yuri.

It's really hard to pick a real bias. SNSD is pretty much the only Kpop group with more than 4 or 5 members where I love all of them in the same way, but for a different reason. They're probably the most balanced girl group beside Mamamoo, where I have a different bias every day.😂

  • Can't say any member drew me into kpop. My cousin introduced me to Run Devil Run in 2010 (she didn't even listen to kpop lol), but I mostly listened to boy group songs my friend recommended for a few years after.

Now my bias is Seohyun for her voice :holding-back-tears: Since she's not doing music and I don't watch k-dramas much, my other bias is Taeyeon.

  • My kpop era start in 2017, when I encountered IU. But later on I noticed SNSD OT 5 then found gold in OT9 . Pretty much late to the game. But I like them all. Each members has their own character so no one shadowing others.

Before 2017, I despised kpop which I found much of them just noise music (except for growl).

  • Yoona, because I saw her in a picture advertising school uniforms next to an idol I was interested in at the time and I knew of her fame before I knew SNSD. Then a video of the Korea-China Festival landed in my hands and I saw them performed Genie and IGAB and the ones who stood up the most for.me aside of Yoona were Seohyun and Sooyoung. Yoona and Seohyun have remained my biases, but I like all the members.

  • It was Tiffany for me.

I remember it was my friend who was a kpop fan played lion heart on my laptop. She showed me the color coded lyrics (lol) and the dance practice. And it was this girl who sang the chorus who grabbed my attention. She told me it was Tiffany and it all began there. Until now, SNSD is my ult group and I don't think I'll ever love another kpop group as much as I love SNSD

I was late to the game as well, wish I had known them earlier :holding-back-tears:

I find Seohyun so innocent and cute.

Taeyeon makes me think of a lion ^^

Snsd is one of those groups where I love everyone equally. Yoona was my only bias before I knew the whole group.

  • Tiffany is my big K-pop crush and was the one that got me into the group (and K-pop). I started with "Gee" and "Nobody" back during the beginning of the Hallyu Wave and during the middle of the Coll Japan wave, so I also bopped to "Gee-Japanese Ver."

Love this group. My ults are Tiffany, Jessica, and Sooyoung.

  • tiff was what drew me into snsd in gee, her bob curly hairstyle was so cute, but jessica became was ult bias, everything about her, her incredibly sweet soft voice while still being able to hit high notes, that juxtaposition with jessica always amazes me, when you listen to her you don't think she can hit high notes but damn she can.

  • Never was a big Girls' Generation fan, but songs like Oh! and Gee was some of my favorites when I started with kpop. Never really had any big favorite member, but I would say Sooyoung maybe, because she is so hot. But also Yonna I guess.

Jessica's voice was one of the most beautiful things about Snsd. She gave the group a unique sound that set them apart from other ggs, not just her high notes but her profound tone as well.

  • For me, Sunny stood out with her iconic short hairstyles and I thought she was funny.

Sunny, Sooyoung, and Hyoyeon stood out the most

The first time I saw Hyoyeon dance solo, it was obvious why she was the main dancer.

    Sunny has a beautiful personality.

  • Oh nice, an SNSD thread :wow::claps: For me, it was Sunny.

Someone posted some odd videofragments on a totally different forum. I watched it, it appeared to be a compilation of funny scenes with Sunny and what looked like her friends. I was confused and at the same mesmerized, started to watch some other funny youtube videos that were referenced with the same girl named Sunny and got seamlessly yet quickly immersed in this weird, different culture that was reality tv, variety shows, and music all rolled into 1.

It started with Sunny, then the more I watched clips the more I learnt about the other SNSD girls, then I watched some variety shows like Invincible Youth, Girls Go To School and Horror Movie Factory, then music videos like Genie and Gee and stage performances - which was made even easier due to a central spot with everything SNSD related material gathered (thank you, Soshified!!! <3 ) - and I was hooked.

... oh, lol the first Sunny/SNSD clips that lured me to this devious path into K-pop are still online,
