Why KPop figures are not invited to events held by the top people of the world >

  • Mukesh Ambani is the richest person of India and one of the world's top 10 richest, with a net worth around 120 billion.

His last son got married to a pharmaceutical heiress, who is filthy rich, but very, very poor compared to the Ambanis.

In India weddings of rich and powerful are huge events which last for months.

In March , in one of the wedding parties , Rihanna was invited . She was paid $6.3 million and it is said that her performance was uninspring. Rihanna is worth 1.4 billion, but that is chump change to the Ambanis who spent 600 mil for this event.

In May, an another party related to this, Justin Bieber was invited. He sang 10 songs and was paid $10 million.

Today is the real wedding, where people like Kim Kardashian, Boris Johnson, Tony Blair, Mike Tyson, John Cena, Gianni Infantino (the head of FIFA), Mike Tyson, David Beckham, and the CEO of Aramco (the oil company of Saudi Arabia) showed up.

Singers Adele, Lana del Rey and Drake, among some other lesser known names, were invited to there too.

But, the only Korean invited was Jay Lee, the owner of Samsung. No KPop singer is known to be attending the party.

Other than Lisa, Pranpriya Manobal, not a Korean, reportedly dating a son of Bernard Arnault, the owner of Louis Vuitton and sometimes called the richest man in the world, no KPop star has been seen hanging out with the leading people of the world.

While people like Rihanna, Justin Bieber, and now Adele, Lana del Rey and Drake are invited to such parties, no KPop figures are invited to events of such biggies.

If one of them wanted to see, let's say , Jungkook he would have been granted a 'special leave' and be sent there, whether Knets balk or not. Their opinion means nothing . But he was not invited.

Is it because they don't bother to learn English and not bother to learn how to behave before the leading figures of the world?

Whyknock is angry that no leading figures of the world think KPop is important enough so its stars are not gracing any of their parties.

Long-haired and wet Jungkook, are you kidding me?! :meme-talented-brilliant: I'll treasure it until the next thirst trap (biker Jungkook) is here :pepelove1:

    I'm only a girl :pep-pj-pink:

  • No the reason kpop idols aren't invited is because of their immature fandoms.

Jungkook or anyone else goes to one of these events guaranteed everyone will be blasted on social media for being anti this or that or free Palestine that or Zionist this or xyz is hypocritical because they went to X or they somehow are supporting xyz. Or the other people in attendance gets harassed by clowns 🤡 because they the fan looked too much into something and got offended on the idols behalf over something they don't understand. Example people accused met gala of racism to San of ateez because he was sitting between all these celebrities and he didn't have a pillow. The damage from such clownry is already done. San got on live later once hearing about it and explained he had no pillow because he wanted to take a seat between these people with his unique outfit on and he had forgotten his pillow.

He told fana to not misunderstand the situation and then eventually ended the live. Regardless that doesn't undo all those ridiculous news articles against met gala and others there.

Stuff like this is why people stay away from kpop, the fans make everything to volitile /radioactive ☢️

  • I'm "amazed" at the way you spend your weekendS.

  • I'd love to be a fly on wall of the insides of his head to see the thought processes he goes through when making these nonsense threads

    You probably wouldn’t…

Having as severe psychiatric disease as he is, is hell.

Having said that it’s also quite telling that akp is an outlet that encourages this behavior.

Admittingly some can’t recognize that he’s very sick and enable his disease by encouraging his delusional thoughts, but many DO se how ill he is and still continue to enable him by interacting because it’s fun to them. Sad.

  • That is bad of the fans, since it is a good way for the KPop figures to build a reputation and also a good opportunity to make easy money, and being with these world shaking people is priceless.

  • If the KPop figures are that famous they will invite such acts

  • Please note that all the Western artists mentioned in the above diatribe are household names or close to it worldwide. The only Korean music acts to have ever reached that level of fame are BTS and Gangnam Style-era Psy. In other words, 99.999% of Kpop acts are unknown internationally outside of the Kpop bubble, so no one at that level will even know they exist.

  • People overestimate the influence of K-pop, it is practically non-existent and lives only off the fans who create 10-20 topics with this or that artist. The same BTS are simply hyped with the help of Hybe, who order hundreds of articles from major media outlets in order to show some kind of influence, but nevertheless all major events simply ignore them.

I will even say more, PSY and BTS are little known at the global level. Seriously, just ask a passerby in England about BTS, and the most they will say is that they saw/heard this name somewhere, nothing more. I don't even think they know what country they are from.

It's Army who hype up BTS the most. Hybe should spend more equivalent to the West's spending in Payola to hype up BTS then you'd hear about them more.

Anyhow, our local government media ( TV, print and social) did mention BTS a few times. 🤗

When Jin was discharge, the media in my country reported it non-stop. Even their OT7 photos were reported/posted by the news outlet. Like you can't escape them.

  • Do even Korean Chaebols invite idols to their celebrations?

Idols aren't much respected by the Korean elites, despite what the i-fans think.

And Ambanis are rather an exception, even among Indian super rich, when it comes to their association with celebrity entertainers. An Ambani brother even married an actress etc., Not all Indian Superrich are that way.

Lee Kun-hee, the former owner of Samsung, is known to have invited Sistar on his birthday party. Why, no one really knows to this day.

And in Korea if idols are invited to such parties it is done discreetly and not really advertised.

  • People are talking about the Ambani wedding. The real reason Ambanis didn't invite any Kpop Idol is beacuse cultural difference and male kpop idols are way too attractive, glamorous and modern for India (and most of the world). Where only sterotypical manly men are allowed. They didn't invite any female kpop idols either cause they are not western. The kpop fandom has absolutely nothing to do with anything here.

These internet addicts think their fandom matters but in reality people only care about celebrities no one gives a dam about the fandoms.

People are forgetting that ambanis are indians. And Indians think everything western is high level and they think east asians are less. Most Indians, Bangladeshis and Pakistanis Worship the west. That's why they don't invite Koreans. And Indian celebrities try their best to copy Hollywood celebrities. Bollywood is a Hollywood wannabe.

BTS Blackpink NCT StrayKids are quite famous worldwide. Casual fans exist they don't make a big deal out of everything like those stans do. They just enjoy music and good looking celebs they don't care politics and everything else.

And general public knows that Korean music exists, even though they don't listen to it. If Korean celebrities weren't famous then there wouldn't be any news about them. They wouldn't be branded ambassadors of big brands. Media won't bother about them cause Media reports what makes them money.

Kpop idols and any Korea celebrities aren't invited to ambani wedding NOT beacuse they are not famous enough BUT beacuse Indians don't care about them. Indians love the west and everything western.
