I agree. Im a blink first and when they were still under YGE i would choose a BP cb over any BP solo music.

Now they aren't with YGE anymore and it's not like YGE treated them good music wise so blinks not supporting them 4 isn't a surprise, but I'm still glad the fandom is willing to give them a chance in their solo career.

Lisa thanking Lilies it's bc she is "re debuting" again as a solo artist and she needs her own fandom. Rosé asking a fandom name too.

exactly this is common sense lol. I don't get why it's so hard to understand. you don't owe these idols a life of blind dedication. you should just listen to whatever you like and consume the content you prefer without added pressure.

that's why I avoid interacting with kpop fandoms in social spaces. I don't need strangers or other people dictating what I should or shouldn't do especially when it comes to a hobbie like kpop

are there seriously stans who listen to and stream songs they don't like just for their faves?

Solo fans annoy me as well. They go around saying how they don't need group fans but when solo doesn't pull numbers they expected they are like 😵 and then they whine for days lol

Kpop fans in general annoy the hell out of me with their entitlement and jobless-ness. Imagine losing sleep over your faves charts and streaming their music 183773 times like it's your own job. I prefer touching grass and muting these stans on twitter.

Reveluvs for example have been so insufferable these days with their whining and casual xenophobia. I've been on a blocking/muting spree since Cosmic was announced.

People can fan and stan however they want. Group, solo, stream, buy albums, like posts, go or don't go to concerts, just do what you feel like.

One thing about solo career, the members aren't gonna achieve the same thing. Solo projects are also based on the members taste in music so it could be experimental and vastly different from the group music you like.

I like all of the EXO member's solo music, but still I totally agree. And as much as I love the solos, people also need to accept for some people only group music can satisfy that craving for group music (which should be obvious, but I see way too many people jumped on twitter for saying that they want a new EXO album).

I totally agree. If I don't like a member solo music, I skip it and same for activities that I don't care about and are not music.

True but I hate it when fanbases and big accs on twt start preaching about supporting all members "being a real fan" while not supporting the whole group as soloist. Stop schooling.

I agree with you, members who follow the same genre or work with the group producers always turn out to be the most successful because it aligns with the taste of fandom, it's a huge risk to switch up genres and change the image they were given in the group.

I agree with this. I did not buy every solo release from BTS members and some I supported more than others because I like that style of music more or I appreciate the artist's philosophy more. I buy most everything that the rapline puts out but I'm not as consistent with the vocal line. I actually prefer dance music, so Face got a lot of play but Tae's vocal style is often my least favorite, so I only bought one digital copy of Layover and still haven't listened to all of it. I actually love that style of jazz, but I prefer a different vocal style.

i stan 127 for their music, and at the same time i stan yuta, but i am not here for the other member's solo careers and i don't see anything wrong with that.

i also don't like it when i can't solo stan someone from a group i don't care about.

What on Earth are you yapping about? RV fans aren't chart-obsessed streaming farms. We're too old for that shit. We just enjoy their content like normal humans, and I haven't seen any "whining" (outside of the completely deserved criticism of SM) or "casual xenophobia" (who would we even be xenophobic to? All the members are the same nationality!) Cosmic also isn't a solo project, so I have no idea what their relevance is to this thread.

yeah, I agree with this and don't see why Blinks gave Lisa hate for using Lilies.

They are going their own way with perhaps a comeback in some undetermined future as a group.
