Aespa really started thriving with LSM out of the door

I don't think it's because LSM is out because Aespa is an SM group so they were always going to grow and perform better in all ways. Their fandom has grown in size and full albums tend to get better support in general. They are very talented as well as the team managing them.

Lsm the sm punk? He definitely destroyed aspa in early days with his ai persona shit, I saw few interviews of sm employees talking about ai aspect of aspa and what not and all i thought was "what an dumb-ass, he is taking this stupid concept too seriously".

At some point their innovative thinking should be questioned as they are anything but logical.

Anyway, lulu i agree! Even non-fans and casuals (like me) enjoyed their two comeback, especially drama. I can bet that they wouldn't get support from casuals if they sang about planting trees lol

I havent watched them much recently so i dunno about stage presence.

But their songs have really fallen off in quality without LSM.

Their MV quality has definitely improved. Very “awkwy” for SME to have DemJointz produce for them and not meet the same bar as what he’s recently done for other acts.

LSM was picking the most terrible songs to give to aespa, like even comparing Savage to Drama, the quality is on a whole other level.

Lol. 70% of AKP has voted Armageddon as a bop (not one of my favs either) which is higher than any IVE song has ever received.

Supernova just posted its 66th perfect all kill.

I do think that SM has not given them good enough song material when you consider the talent of the group.

Stage presence is built by experience, aespa was debuted during covid era

with lsm out of the door, aespa tts become more public friendly while still maintaining their sound so this is one of the positives

This situation is actually fascinating. We have the same beat and two versions of lyrics. Drama as a song is bop but wind sunlight water (rip) is garbage. When people say lyrics don't matter; oh, yes they do.

I'm so glad they and we dodged a bullet. Thank god for sm/lsm/kakao/hybe controversy lol
