Since OoWee is currently making me feel like an earworm, I've just become interested in NOWADAYS. However, after looking over their YouTube videos and social media pages, I find that the performances and the music video are simply... meh. While Cube is by no means a "Big 3/4" contender, shouldn't people be more enthusiastic given the location of significant organisations like G-Idle, Pentagon, and even the old management of Highlight and BTOB? It's their first new boy band in a long time, one of the members is from PDX101, and the song doesn't sound all that obnoxious, so why does it seem like they're so tiny? Groups from companies with less brand recognition than Cube appear to be doing better, similar to groups like DXMON or 82MAJOR. I know Cube isn't adored by everyone, but I would expect more if the A&R crew that worked on the previously stated groups had actually made NOWADAYS. I simply wanted to know if there was something lacking or if my expectations were too high.
Is there a reason Cube’s new bg NOWADAYS doesn’t seem to be doing well?

with the rise of TWS, Riize, BND, ZB1 and Plave, you would expect people atleast checking out on them

the song tho

I was kinda waiting for their debut but at the first listen to the song and mv I knew that they won’t “click” with the audience. The song was mid, it’s kinda hesitating between cute lyrics and noise music (?), the mv also isn’t memorable enough
The closest concept that seem similar to them maybe BND imo. But BND execute it better (I dont stan bnd and this is just my personal opinion)
But I think mainly it’s about the song choice cuz afterall if ppl tune in for an artist they will also tune in for their songs

What happened to the 80B won (65M USD) that Kakao gave them?

I didn't even know they debuted.

You do this all the time you did pretty much copy it. How many times do you have to get called out before it sinks in? Maybe stop repeating stuff from reddit period. You don't even stan let alone care about the groups you think you're making a hot topic for. Lol you simply changed words like small to tiny and you clearly have no idea how to form a proper sentence. You tried so hard to rearrange the first sentence on that reddit post that you sound like a clown lol.
Also, Cube sucks and no one cares about them. pretty much all their groups left anyway except idle and nowadays. I'm Just waiting for Pentagon to give the middle finger. But some members are still under contract.

I don't even remember how their debut song goes. It did remind me of case 143 by skz and I thought it was just another skz copy group. It was kinda giving nugu.... Plus the members aren't really that recognizable or interesting visually. There is one member I think the blonde one he stands out the most to me.
But does anyone except die hard fans care for cube? Lightsum was a flop, Nowadays nobody cares for... Btob left.... Like it's looking rough for them.

That was in the past. After they changed a shareholder in 2020, Cube's CEO HSS has left the company. Since those changes were happen CUBE did nothing valuable, hoping for Soyeon only.
Ex CUBE's CEO and founder Hong Seung Sung established S2 Entertainment and launched KISS OF LIFE after failing with HOT ISSUE.
S2 is the real CUBE's successor, meanwhile the present CUBE has nothing common with his glorious past except the name. -

Vs.
"I’ve recently gotten into NOWADAYS because OoWee is enjoying ear worm status for me right now, but as I check their social media accounts and YouTube views on performances and the MV, it just seems… underwhelming? Cube is by no means a “Big 3/4” candidate, but as the home of big groups like G-Idle, Pentagon, and even formerly managing Highlight and BTOB, shouldn’t people be more excited? It’s their first new boy group in a while, it has a PDX101 contestant, the song isn’t particularly offensive in its sound… why does it seem like they’re so small? Like groups such as 82MAJOR or DXMON, groups from companies with less name recognition than Cube seem to be fairing better. I recognize Cube definitely isn’t beloved, but if realistically the same A&R team behind the groups mentioned before made NOWADAYS I’d just expect more. I just wanted to know if my expectations were too high or if there’s something I’m missing."
