How many streams do you think these groups will do without playlistings?

BP definitely had paid playlisting and Spotify deals.

The correct question is
Since we can see the playlisting reach each song has, is why is it that some groups do extremely well in the korean charts, yet even when they have the same or more playlisting reach as other groups, their songs outright flop on the global charts? Mmmmmm
which group do you mean? If your saying Baemon then they didn’t have playlistings

Since I don't know what groups you mean, I will assume you talk about the choir I'm in.
We would have 0 less streams without playlisting, but we have 0 monthly listeners anyway, so there's that, even though my cat has a lovely soprano voice.

And you're an akgae so no wonder

Spotify is a significant investment, especially when it comes to TTH playlists (Today’s Top Hits). These playlists allow artists to reach a broader audience beyond just streams. However, there’s a catch: Spotify takes a percentage from an artist’s earnings before distributing them if they are featured on TTH.
Not every artist can secure a spot on TTH playlists. It typically happens when an artist’s label is confident that they can generate billions of streams and produce popular hits consistently. In such cases, the label negotiates a deal with Spotify. To put it into perspective, 1 billion streams translate to approximately $3 million USD in earnings. So, labels need to do the math and consider TTH as an essential investment for visibility and financial success.
