They will be fine. For example, LE SSERAFIM and V's new songs are available on TikTok because the writers, producers, etc are not associated with UMG. In the end, they are still under HYBE.

THIS 1000% also is why these boycotts are dumb and cancelling idols over drinking Starbucks is even dumber. Those idols are real people just like your own family and friends. They do not deserve any negative energy from you nor the mental harm of bullshit. Besides they are idols they entertain you that's it! They are not your elected officials nor the UN stop coming to them with your fuckin problems!

So many people seem to only look at tweets to inform them rather than to read the actual articles. Because nothing is changing really, it's only a 10 year extension of the current partnership.
Articles made also clear that UMG doesn't get the distribution rights for youtube, insta/Facebook, and tiktok.
As for yg plus, hybe still has a contract with them until 2026 to produce their albums so for now nothing changes for that either. With the 18% share Hybe owns, it's in their interest that yg plus does well.

Their songs will be available on TikTok as long as the writers, producers, etc are not directly under UMG. That's why songs like Seven and SNTY were muted but not 3D and FRI(END)S that were produced and written by people under Sony.
