Preach. You can really notice her improvement. It's really nice to know that even 10 years into their career they're still actively working on improving their skills even more.

She's always been rock solid. Yeri too. People that say those two can't sing are deaf. They just don't have the power of a Wendy or Seulgi but they technically really sound and add great depth/harmony to RV's songs.

Actually irene have always been very stable singer

The only thing is that she' in a group with members like wendy, seulgi and joy who are solid vocalist

And because she doesn't reach their level

And she is the visual of red velvet

People directly labeled her as a talentless visual who only make it thanks to her visual

But ask people to show you only one stage where irene messed up vocally or in term of dance and people will answer you back cuz it doesn't exist

I think her dance skills and stage presence are actually underrated. In my opinion, she owned Naughty. I just couldn't take my eyes off her in the performances. Her isolations are so clean.

Yeah but kpop fans just have this weird habit of labeling visual as untalented especially when they are from SM

And then just focusing on this label they put on them .

Yoona was actually a good dancer in 2nd gen but because she was a visual people took the talentless tag and run with it

Same with Irene

When Winter face was show the first time before she even debut people were already saying how she'll be the visual and will have no skill because she's from sm

Indeed and Yeri even did a kind of concert during the pandemic for her YouTube show. She did very well and sang some of her self-composed songs. Irene is also a nice dancer and performer. They are both great additions to Red Velvet and their voices add an unique flavor to the group’s amazing vocals. Some people said that they are talentless because Red Velvet’s talent is undeniable.
