some people who were not into kpop in 2017/18 severely underestimate the popularity of Wanna One back then

17 maybe till 2020 or 2021 but since then they’ve be talked about as being a top group group pretty consistently.

Their not super successful but they still were/are big

Mamamoo without question. People act like they didn't spend a good chunk of 3rd gen as a top THREE girl group and that it was always Big 3 domination.

Secret was one of the most successful non-big3 ggs during the 2nd gen, people don't talk about them as much as kara , t-ara or after school

It's funny how izone fans thought they were more successful. Come on, it's always Wony, Sakura and Yujin

in ioi individuals are much more successful. only three failed while in Izone I even saw many who would fail later.

No. Ioi really lost slightly in Korea and far less globally because Blackpink existed. if blackpink doesn't debut ioi will buy them all

but in gen 3 only this one had a spectacular debut with a more successful comeback because at that time its competitors chose to hiatus. Ioi era the best mnet survilval

they are so big that no survival will ever be that big again I'm sure. they are practically the most successful era that mnet and boy groups have had because since then there has been no bg debut that has topped the charts

Shinee. They are trated like a b-list group when they are in fact a 2nd gen group who still pretty much alive. They sell sufficiently well for a 2nd gen group, can chart, have a good number of international listeners and touring power
