Among all stupid 'scandal' or 'controversy' in Kpop, this one is the most ridiculous one for me. Anyway, the bowing-not-bowing controversy I've heard always relates to bg stans claiming that certain groups didn't bow to their oppa, deeming it rude, immoral, and perhaps equivalent to a crime for them as how bad they attacking those poor victims. I still remember how some Stays even edited photos of IVE girls into explicit content over this issue.
I've never seen gg stans making an issue over this, though it likely has happened to them too (except Blink, idk if they have done this or not). Every year, some of these bg stans attacking some groups after award shows due to this.
Why is it so important, especially if you're not Korean? In a place with hundreds of people, not everyone is aware of who's coming or bowing. Why does this matter?
