f(x) has 4 number 1 songs and 3 number 2 songs, they smash Red Velvets' Song charting, f(x)'s album sales were pretty decent too, at least for that period

RV by far has the most inconsistency in charting. What is the basis of putting them as "clear nr 1"?

They had their big hits like Red Flavor, Bad Boy, Psycho, Feel My rhythm but they also have flops like One of these nights, RBB, ZZLB, Birthday

In contrast, both f(x) and aespa have much more consistent charting, especially aespa which so far has yet to release a song which didnt peak at top 10 aside from debut Black Mamba.

Well, I do honest don't follow charting much I mostly just go by what I see on wikipedia and stuff and looking their both RV and f(x) have a couple of nr 1 on the singles charts and Aespa have a nr 2 as the best. Yes, maybe f(x) is the nr 1 because they have more nr1 spots, but other way I would say Aespa is nr 3 of these three groups.

Charting not only about peak but also about longevity and stays on chart. Moreover consistency is also very important. Having more flops / underperforming songs make your charting history weaker despite having more #1
