So Taehyung wore a durag and many seem to support him, while many other idols got dragged. Is backlash against “cultural appropriation” going away in Kpop?

Theres a difference between durags and bandanas though
Bandanas are just square bits of cloth that have functionality beyond hair protection, eg wristbands, neckerchiefs, hand towels etc
Durags are more fitted, have special ties and are designed solely for use on the head as hair protection/maintenance
durag:
bandana
Bandanas are also mainly just thin cotton, sometimes polyester, rarely silk and usually not very stretchy. Durags can be made of a lot more materials, including stretchier ones
