Not sure if they always can decide themself exactly when they should enlist. And it also kind of make sence if the members are doing solos you spread it out so they don't compet against each other. And if two-three members are doing solo one year it make sence some other members do the military service during that time. The queastion is how many fans will be left in 2025.

NU'EST wanted to do this. They all wanted to enlist together in 2024 but now they can go whenever they want cause they got disbanded against their own will in 2022

Do they even have a say in this? isn't it...the gov who schedules these enlistments?

BTS made about $800m for HYBE last year by direct involvement. HYBE is already projected to do worse than last year with no BTS group activities this year but still BTS are probably going to make around 50% of HYBE total revenue this year during their "break". It is not at all healthy for HYBE if BTS disappears even for few months let alone more than a year...

I think their plan is the oldest member go first, wait 2 years and enlist the second oldest, repeat the process until all enlisted as long as majority can still promote and keep the group active

Because usually they don't have that many open positions at the post office all at once.

They don't because that idea is just a pipedream. These idols all say something nice to make you feel good, Even if they truly had good intentions of actually doing so. The fact of the matter is, they do not know the future nor are they in control of everything. Enlistment is done by the government which means they take you when they are ready not when you are🤡. Two life happens maybe your group hits it big and you end up like rowoon or eunwoo or BTS where you have booming solo careers or tv/drama deals Left and right, suddenly that let's all enlist together you said some years ago is off the table.
