oh yeah definitely ! or go even further. she was such a key and vital member to their concept and their sound, i do think they're amazing on their own and all but she was a total gem.

All I know is she would have slayed all three of those concepts, so missing her from them was a great loss.

Yes. (G)-Idle we’re famous rookies from the moment they debuted. Everyone were talking about them after Latata and Hann then they lost a bit of their hype with Senorita and Uh Oh but their fanbase kept growing and finally after Queendom, they were on an ascending era again. Hwaa was steadily rising on the charts before Soojin’s scandal broke out.

A bit off topic, but was Soojin's departure taken badly by Neverland? Like were they upset? I've been going back since getting into them during Queencard. And like... I'm not upset she's gone. She's like the opposite of most Kpop girl group members. She actually only looked good to me when she was next to the other girls. Her solo shots just didn't do it for me. Plus, every other member stuck out more visually and vocally imo. What was her draw? Was she a main vocal who just didn't hit the mark? Like Minnie is queen.

Some took it badly (and a few have never recovered), most international were disappointed, Koreans abandoned the group (and her) far quicker then international neverland. (G)I-DLE basically had to rebuild the fandom in Korea from bare bones again.

Soojin leaving is treated as a 'tragedy' by lots in international circles, but in Korea it was seen as necessary.

So 50/50 on the split. Many admired her not really just her alone, but for her dynamic with Shuhua.

Awww, okay. Thank you so much for this! I love Shuhua. Are there any recommendations for older content which shows their connection well? I'd love to see! I like the variety aspects of G-Idle the most so far (plus they're whacky title tracks)

I think they woulda been more popular. Because Soojin woulda eat that Tomboy, Queencard and especially Nxde up.
