eww, no. i already spoke to someone here about it. don't buy what they are selling, be smarter than that. and that person is buying what they are selling even tho she knows it's not real. don't do that, please, don't do it to yourself. it's not good for your mental health either.

as for saying in a non-serious, joke way, i'm fine with that. example: "she's my mother", "they are my kids", "he's my husband", it's obvious they are not serious statements and nobody is delulu thinking they are their actual family. those words are used as endearment

You can view an idol as your boyfriend/girlfriend, but it’s completely illogical. The idol is not your companion as they do not interact with you in any capacity. They don’t know you personally so they aren’t even an acquaintance. You are basically just living out a fantasy.

You can pretend that an idol is your bf/gf, but it has the same validity as me claiming to be a unicorn.
