So this is probably exactly right. Apple music is biggest in the US and the payout per stream from the US/Europe is going to be higher than say Melon who is only paying in Won

The numbers don't really bear out in terms of what Circle has conveyed. Unless Melon is stealing again.

I wonder how much artists actually get from Yt streams (and how much the company claims)?

Because Spotify, Apple Music,.. are based on who has credits on the song, but that isn’t how it works with Yt views, right?

isnt there also a big difference with you tube music or using you tube for free? similar to spotify premium or not?

Whether these numbers are accurate or not, we already know that digital streams pay pennies.

It will probably always be like that. All you have to do is press play for a stream, which literally costs you nothing unless you have a premium membership on a music platform.

I'm more interested to know how much they get paid per download.
