Idk but I'm sure their uls will be higher. When they released Ditto and omg, it was during Christmas and new year season where people didn't really check for new releases. Everyone were focus on Christmas songs so it raise on charts during this time. One good thing about releasing songs during a pack season where people eyes on the charts are people will checking it out esp when the group is highly anticipated.

If Newjeans can top Maria Carey during Christmas, nothing is impossible.

They timed Ditto for that season because it suits the winter, and it did really well.

Its a "calm" song so I think it will not be as played as the more hyper songs like Spicy, Unforgiven and I AM.

However if they wanted to join the Summer madness with something like Hype Boy or Attention I am sure they will compete for 1.

I think they will. The 2023 summer sound so far from 4th gen has been loud, bright, sharp. If NJ zags while everyone zigs, then I'm betting on an rhythmic, hazy, chill summer banger from the team

New Jeans chill songs are bops and they will be able to chart well for sure. Personally I still play Ditto to this day.

However I am basing my prediction on the korean trend of not favoring chill songs during summer.

If they really come with something like that and do compete for no.1, then they prove to be extraordinary and one for the books!

Korea weather is extremely hot, songs who did well the entire year and are chill coming the summer they are bleeding in UL etc... to the profit of songs who are consider as more fresh
