A lot of the reason people like Ditto and it charted so well was because of the story line that peaked a lot of kpop fans interest. So yes, if it was released now I do think it would do well on the charts.

That coke zero song got 300k+ ULs and that's a CF.

Ditto would have even peaked with higher ULs if it's released now let's be serious lol (and OMG too)

I think Circle digital points and Melon UL numbers already prove that Dorito wouldnt have dominated against I AM and would have actually lost going head to head.

Dorito peaked at 550k UL IIRC while I AM peaked at 580k. Also, I AM's first four weeks are higher in terms of Circle digital points than Dorito's top 4 weeks. By about 10-15 percent, so not much, but still noticeable.

Dorito has now fallen to #10 on Melon Daily after only 22 weeks. They are one viral song away from dropping out, which shows just how loaded the charts are right now, and may show a surprising weakness in terms of longevity. Next Level did 27 weeks, Tomboy did similarly iirc, Attendant did over 30, Love Dive did 33.
