This thing only exists due to the combination the hyper competitive nature of fandom and the ADHD brains of modern society. Back in like 2nd Gen. and early 3rd Gen. days usually the weekly sales was only a way to count towards the monthly sale. No one took it this seriously.

That's the JYP way. Doing a terrible job of promoting and then making the group do extra events to compensate, so they don't look too bad.
