Why are some people on twitter acting like this? When are death and r*pe threats ever okay? They’re not! But it’s happening! And this is because BTS didn’t win. Okay yeah, BTS has worked very hard to get where they are now and yeah the Grammys are unfair. But threats of any sort are never okay. Who in their right mind?
This is why people don’t take Kpop seriously

This just proves these people haven't really listened to their music otherwise they'd know better.

What is wrong with my thread? What am I supposed to do? Agree with people using death and r*pe threads?! As a victim myself, that’s quite insensitive. I’m literally just stating that threats are not okay. I never ever discredited BTS in their work: I literally said they worked hard. So speaking out against something makes me a fake army, i see how it is.
-
This goes for a lot of fandoms when there fave doesn't win. I'm sad they lost but I mean they grammys dont define them and their success. People have no moral compass and really take kpop too seriously.
It's not so serious to the point where you should be sending death threats to someone. We should all just ignore the grammys and focus on BTS.
I really cant stand kpop fans like this.

There are no death and rape threats on the forum. Stop with your fake concern, everyone knows why did you make this thread. You're bringing this shit up to shame some people around here and label the so-called fandom you're part of, same as the other people who made threads about it. No army would make this kind of threads based on the some random tweets with no traction.

I completely agree.
It’s sad they lost, especially knowing how much BTS wanted it.
But that never makes threats okay

Stan culture always has a load of nut jobs. NO, it’s not ok. But you see this in every part of any type of fandom. For example, one of the Queens on UK Drag race just left Twitter after getting foul abuse and death threats for having a VERY mild blarney with one of their fellow competitors.
You can see this sort of thing absolutely everywhere. It’s shite, but this isn’t a toxic ARMY thing, it’s a toxic social media thing.

So it’s not okay to speak up about injustices? I see how it is. I’m not labeling anyone. I’m just saying death threats and rape threats are not okay. Also I don’t even have a Twitter account. I’ve just seen countless threads talking about it so I thought as an ARMY myself I should speak up. This is literally just an excuse to attack me. I didn’t do anything wrong here
-
I’m not on Twitter either but I saw some stuff through other threads here and on TikTok about it and thought I should address as a victim myself and as an ARMY

I never claimed it as an ARMY only thing. I see it all the time and it’s not okay. I’m just pointing out one specific incident I’ve witnessed

You can stop victimizing yourself in every post, you aren't fooling anyone with the innocent thing. Everyone who posted about these random tweets and basically making some toxic army to be like it's entire fandom isn't innocent at all.
All your posts you feel the need to mention you are an army
Isn't it clear how much of an army you are when Jk996 likes your posts?

Then, I hope they get reported real fast because as an Army, I don't condone such behavior!

The reason I mention it every time is because my own fandom calls me fake when I’m not. I’m playing the innocent card, I’m just stating things as they are but clearly you don’t like that. So you figure attacking me is the best defense mechanism. I never said it was the entire fandom. I just said threats in general are not okay. Stop putting words into my mouth. Also I have not interacted in depth with that user, I barely know them.

I’ve said this in another comment, i am a victim of r*pe. So I was speaking up about it. No hidden agenda. Just speaking out.

Neither do I, and by saying something here hopefully those on Twitter can report it
