BTS and Twice also got this kind of treatment. Their previous comebacks will always be better than the current one say the antis/trolls. It’s what top groups have to go thru. So IVE is top group.

Through out this period, yes they were getting attention and love for their music. Do you know why? If it doesn't seem obvious to you, then i will tell you. Blackpink was clearly the no.2 in battle against twice. It was looking like a losing battle even in 2019 when burning scandal happened. Being a Blackpink fan was clearly not for the faint-hearted but maybe that's what made them special to me. I just loved the story that was being written by them.

Maybe it's not fair of me to compare ive with blackpink because ive has traces of twice in them and newjeans traces of bp because of the album salesand korean charting and who debuted first. These are my thoughts.

you are wrong lol you are making it seem as blackpink wasn't successful when it wasn't the case they literally debuted with a PAK their digital charts performance were always strong, It took a year or two to start breaking records ( remind you that aiiyl debuted at #13 on the bubbling under hot 100 ) in 2018/2019 was their year DDDD further cemented their domestic and global success + around that time Coachella happened. In 2020 blackpink was the first girl group to reach 1-1,5 M sales for the album( now they are the first girl group to get over 2M) and " in your area" world tour became the most successful world tour by a girl group
