Why does KAI promoting his song bother people?

    This was my thinking as well. Why does a solo artist, who’s 11 years into his music career and 2.5 years into his solo career, promoting his solo by doing challenges with multiple idols and music shows bother people?


    I don’t mean to be salty or anything,


    But it’s truly baffling seeing people say that “Kai barely achieved this doing 47484385 challenges on TikTok”.


    Till now,

    Never have I ever saw someone shame an artist for PROMOTING THEIR FUCKING SONG!!!


    He’s working hard and you’re out here being a fcking keyboard warrior shaming him for literally doing his job.


    And not to mention, some idols (San and Seonghwa) aren’t even promoting anything yet they made an earnest effort to come to music shows and record the rover challenge with KAI.


    So many idols lined up just to do a video with him and he didn’t turn down a single one of them even though funnily he’s a complete introvert and I know his social battery was depleted at the end of the day.

    That’s what’s important. I don’t have a problem if someone doesn’t promote a song due to whatever reason but let’s not fcking drag someone for doing something good and necessary to further their own career!!!

    it is so weird. When their faves are name dropping seniors left and right they are yas kings and queens. When the named senior is seen with their faves they start to insult them. It doesnt make sense

    Armys have hated Kai long before any of that lol. He must touch something sensitive for them cuz it’s unhinged behavior.

    No it is not the case of timing and no they don't hate any other exo member as much as they hate Kai.

    Hate has started YEARS ago. I think 2016/2017. First it was slut shaming and now it became this obsessive hate with no restraint. You are free to go and see nasty comments they leave. It is not just petty fanwars, it's lawsuit worthy.

    I'm saying that you as a Kai fan aren't seeing the full picture. It's normal for stans to feel like their idol is being especially targeted. His cb would not be received by the usual toxic army like it was had it not been the whole thing on Jin's enlistment and the usual plagiarism accusations that have seemed to pick up (hence the extreme focus on Rover being a "cover"). Had it been any other member it would've been the same, this is his third album and I don't remember this degree of engagement the other times.


    Most of the time the fandom is more engaged in fws with blinks, in much more disgusting and targeted levels.

    I kinda agree with this it’s def been more intense lately, after all of that it was really bad when Kai had his cb like idk some of the twts were gross af and it was all over cause ppl kept quoting n stuff it was a mess Ik not all Stans r like that but it was just annoying to see 😭

    I keep telling you, but you refuse to accept this, hate for Kai is not simple "oh exols accused Jin of plagiarizing exo group pictire, let's hate him" this is them going out of their way to hate him.
