Speaking as a black person who's a fan of this genre... The situation with Giselle absolutely warranted criticism. The thing is though: she apologized. Whether she meant it or not, who knows. If she never makes that kind of mistake again, then it's safe to say that her apology is genuine. However, I don't think it should've went to the degree that it ended up becoming though, I think a lot of factors were at play.
She had the nepotism rumors, people felt her dance skills weren't up to par at all (and you can catch a LOT of hate for this alone which is what I think is really what people are harping on, look at Itzy's Lia to see just how mean people can be) and the whole "party girl" phase rumors (which I don't know if it ever was confirmed, but even if it was... So?). Put that together with her singing a SZA song a little TOO accurately, and well...
Lisa's case is murkier because she's been given raps by someone who's known to have a questionable past, and said rapper has given her raps that put her under scrutiny every time the topic of Blackpink and lyricism comes up. Had an actual black rapper been in the studio writing lyrics for her, Lisa wouldn't be a consistent target for stuff like that.
But the observation that the outrage isn't consistent across the board is a sentiment I've seen now and again.
I'm denying that criticize aren't valid towards giselle , lisa or any other gg idol
What i'm criticizing is more people who doesn't accept this gg idol apology because they aren't sincere to them
But are ready to forgive their oppa apologizing with less effort and for something worst than these gg idols did
Ofc giselle deserve the criticize she faced for her wrongdoing but i do not tolerate how kpop fan are treating male idol in comparison of female idol for racism controversy
Male idol have pretty much a free pass for a lot of this controversial stuff a lot of big boygroups currently did a lot of shitty racist things in the past and repetitely
But apologize and move on
While for female idol one mistake and they are screw forever even if they never did something problematic in the past or repeat it
I took giselle example because it recent and because she's the perfect example to represent my argument because her controversy happen 1 year ago and she apologize very quickly but i still see people saying they hate hzr for this reason while stanning group more problematic in the past

In that case you may want to edit your original post because thats exactly how it comes across, like your dismissing the criticisms both have gotten because BG's have done worse with less repercussions.

Internalized misogyny is very very real. but i wouldnt say ifans are more misogynysts than korean because of your reasoning, it's just that most koreans dont care about racist controversies in the first place. Koreans can be just as much of misogynysts. You think if a gg acted like Bigbang they would still have a career in SK?
I do agree that ifans tend to be a lot more harsher on female idols for any issue than they are with male idols, though. Thats for sure. Sometimes people just want excuses to hate/cancel a pretty successful lady. Twitter is prime example of that, not for kpop but even pop culture as a whole or politics.
