Why do male idols get away with more serious scandals than female idols?

    Female idols "scandals" are just eating a strawberry or gaining weight yet they get insane hate, meanwhile recent male idols include sexual assault, disrespecting fans, distorting Korean history, smoking/hooking up with fans (nothing wrong but female idols like Jinni from Nmixx have to leave after caught dating). Wonyoung gets hate for standing in the center at airport photos but Enhypen can get away with fatshaming other members. Suju Heechul still gets many jobs on TV despite problematic statements yet female idols have to bow down and apologize for small mistakes. Male idols like Chen/Bobby can get married/have kids while female idols have to leave group after pregnant. Garam/Soojin has to leave groups after bullying scandals yet male idols with bullying scandals like Hyunjin/Taeyong are still loved. Why do male idols still get love after more serious scandals but female idols get hated for the smallest things?

    Enhypen's issues are non-sense. they were never disrespectful to anyone. All the issues thrown at them are mere exaggeration of SN solo stans thinking he can go solo ( yeah, delusional akgaes! probably society reject and friendless irl!) and survive and gg stans hating all good looking men.     yeah? it depends on how strong ur fd is. even bp members were dragged relentlessly esp Jennie. whether its a bg or gg, if u have that x factor, ur fans will forgive u. haters will stay but as long as u hv a strong fandom that will continuously support u , u can bounce back. this also happens in Hollywood- Miley, Taylor, Britney, Madonna. They all had issues thrown at them whether its justified or not, its hard to dim their light. IMO, the brighter the star is, the more hate they will get.
