I don't think there will be a difference to be a mini, full or a single album.

Releasing a single album only makes an act sell less and hold its potential when the act in question has released mini/full albums recently. When the single album is all the fandom have to buy, they go all in.

I would guess most people are talking about the first month but yeah the month of release vs. the first 2 months could make a difference of a few hundred thousand
