NCT127 "AY-YO" : BOP vs FLOP

completing the song was like a chore, it never ends

I liked the style and charisma of the boys though, I didn't feel it was overdone or forced this time but the song...nope

blop because the individual parts are so nice but the cohesion is just not there

they're talented though, the vocal colours really came through and there's less needless vocal acrobatics than usual

because they're so different, i can actually rank the different sections

3. chorus

kinda sad when my least favourite part is a songs chorus

I gave it a listen and it's not really my thing

I don't think I want to listen to it again so a flop for me

Blop i guess, something is missing.

this song sounds like useasoned chicken tastes: unfinished, bland

It could have been better If the producers decided to spend more time with it and maybe come out with one idea or two to make this song standout

The styling is ok, trendy clothing pieces with that 00s style everybody is wearing, Taeyong hairstyle is nothing special too, TVXQ came with that more than 15 years ago

One of the blandest takes on the y2k aesthetic and sound out there, no innovation whatsoever

I don't think it's awful, I just don't think it's good either.

SM and JYPE really deserve awards for how often they put out bottom of the barrel music yet maintain fandoms for reasons outside of it.

Bop. It's a very sophisticated track and I predict some budget versions of this coming up as that generally happens with 127 songs. It feels epic, especially at the chorus but also subdued somehow.
