The way how NEW JEANS became the leader of 4th Gen in 6 months
-
-
a bit too early to say as each group keeps outperforming another

LSFM is going kind of crazy lately, they might surprise everyone next comeback. I think they 'caught up' with their latest release and are not really behind NewJeans and IVE anymore. Antifragile was a smash hit and they gained tons of new fans, their Spotify numbers have been incredible too.
This setup seems awfully familiar for IVE though, every time they were supposed to decline and not be able to top their previous release so..
aespa is still lurking in the shadows and very much a top GG - even with only one release in 2022 that wasn't received as well as their previous they are still very high in yearly gallup and still hold the sales record. They also ranked extremely high in circle digital index for 2022. I hope they can have more than one comeback this year, SM is really the only thing holding them back.
BabyMonster - time will tell. The hype is certainly crazy.
Turns out 2022 "GG wars" was just a prelude and 2023 will be just as crazy.
One downside to all this is I think a lot of the smaller groups are going to struggle to make it with all these massively popular giants with infinite budgets saturating the market.

nope not yet
but I could agree
they are the most popular
maybe among international fans /outside of korea
but could be after the end of the year or during year end music award
it Newjeans turn? after AESPA in 2021 IVE in 2022
but their song OMG/Ditto
in terms of impact
not sales total
I don't feel song of the year
HypeBoy is miles better
and they had strong rival contender this year w upcoming rookie Baby Monster
not including other 4th Gen GG comeback -
a bit too early to say as each group keeps outperforming another
It's okay tho, let they had a moment to be proud of
-
I don't know if they are leader or not, but If they become, It's deserved

I think in the end They are almost toe to toe but the hype with NJ is insane
but BAEMONs hype is spectacular too esp with the members currently. So Id say Baemon, IVE and NJ are going at it. The rest will also go in but they all can go well and be succcessful simultaneously.
2023 onwards is Girl Group Territory and its just going up from here. BAEMON have that international hold esp with SEA ( thailand and indonesia, philippines )

sounds eerily similar to the arguments of someone who knocks
-
Like wtf?
Everyone thought aespa would kill them all but they are nowhere now
Everyone thought ive would be the show runner but no
Everyone anticipated nmixx but atp they should be called nmiss Cause they missed their chance
Now everyone is waiting for BabyMonster but lets see if they can stop newjeans
This should prove just how premature it is to try to call the 4th gen leader, but will people stop trying? Don't hold your breath.

Yeah 2022 was not that crazy of a bloodbath everyone thought it would be
But 2023 is it i guess

I don't know if they are leader or not, but If they become, It's deserved
I think at this point it is safe to say so
But ive comes close tho
-
I am so in for that war
