Apparently Pentagon and Hui fans are pissed that he's a contestant, folks saying he's way too overqualified, that he should be a mentor or song producer not a contestant. Plus if he's back from the military, wouldnt that make him like 30 years old or close to it? I read that the youngest contestant is 14

Hui has some months/maximum one year in his contract with CUBE left
he is going there either will fail and then CUBE will say, whatever kid you need us you are no one without us
or he will success, make it to the group which will sell a lot, so CUBE will earn money for some time and then Hui will become free agent with cards in his hands
also remember that MNet might use some previous performances from The Call and like introduce Hui as great artist to boost his brand, but then let's say there are classes A, B, C, or some levels, 1, 2, 3 sneaky bastards will put Hui in B or lvl 2 saying that he got rusty in military, this will make people feel sorry and vote for him even more

I really think there should be a rule that if you're currently in a group, you shouldn't be allowed to compete against trainees. Not only are you at a massive skill advantage, but you've already built a fandom for yourself which gives you an automatic bump before the show has even started. Ever since produce 101 season 1, these active contestants have been a shoe-in for the final lineup or at least made it to the finale. Do a show with active group members against active group members, but don't put them against trainees and act like it's a fair fight. Not that Mnet cares about fairness at all.
