How long your "honeymoon" kpop era last?

about 6 years

from 6th grade to end of high school

since then, it has been all downhill ( except loona )

never had it tbh

my friend was always trying to get me into kpop so I was checking this without actually wanting to lol

About a year and a half. I watched a every vlive, variety show, music show performance of each song, etc.

Now I ignore most notifications I get and check out new music days or weeks later after release unlss theyre from my absolute faves.

I also got back into kpop around 2018 so it helped that covid happened shortly after and I had all the time in the world.

Now that life is back to normal, I simply cant find the time anymore

maybe 3 yrs? i was super into it when i first discovered it, i was listening to old songs and constantly discovering new ones. it was all i listened to at some

point.

then i had a couple of years where i lost interest and minimally kept up with my ult and didn't go out of my way to listen to anything else. i didn't really watch any content, barely watched music videos.

more recently i'm kind of in between??? i don't listen to it as often but i do listen to new releases whenever they come out, and if i really like it it gets added to my big playlist of other songs from other genres. i think because there are new groups that i like my interest has been revived.

Around 3-4 years.

2019-2020

It lasted 4 years for me. Then I began to explore less and focus on some groups that I consider safe bets for several years. Last year and this year, I started to care less about Kpop and I became a less hardcore stan of all the groups that I truly care about and honestly, I feel lighter and happier this way.

i thought i'd be over it by now but almost a decade later, i still love it just as much and maybe even more now because 4th gen gg is pretty damn good

Still on honeymoon, 3.5 years and going strong.

2012-2014

I've been into K pop for 11 years now and whilst I was passionate in the early days, I'm not now. The music is boring except for Twice.

I got really into Kpop thanks to TVXQ and it was really exciting back then. Now only BTS give me that excitement. I check other groups as well when I get the time, but its no longer that exciting.

And that One Piece analogy was *chef's kiss*

I think I am still in it but slowly getting out of it. 1 of my ults is going to the military and is going to be mia for 2 years and the other 1 is on a world tour and who knows how long they'll take before they release something new.

My only hope is Twice who's releasing an English single soon and a mini album in march.

Mine lasted about a year-ish I think, from late 2019 to late 2020 or so.

If Psy's Gangnam Style was the Wedding Day, then I'd say it's been a hell of a long Honey Moon as they seem to be touring the Globe

mine lasting about seven years (late 2015) and counting the reason is because of twice they always have content and amazing music.
