It is crazy to me that people thought Armys were gonna abandon BTS

  • And start stanning their faves in this "hiatus" enlistment era, when BTS member solos are practically eating up everyone and are only outdoing each previous member's release

There is evident growth taking place and each solo debut is outperforming the previous one. This is not possible if your fandom is abandoning you.

I won't forget how the vultures been attacking Armys since Festa claiming end of BTS, loss of fandom, new groups rising and surpassing Bangtan...blah blah and yet BTS are right here killing it as soloists!!!

I have to sadly inform those who thought Armys would disintegrate due to dearth of music and BTS not being around and start supporting their faves, that Armys are busier than ever and with the quality of music and content BTS are putting out as soloists, we have not even a second to glance elsewhere.

Changed the title of the thread from “It is crazy to me that people think Armys are gonna abandon BTS” to “It is crazy to me that people thought Armys were gonna abandon BTS”.
  • So many silly threads re the downfall and end of BTS lol

There was this one user I recall from anons who was so sure that Hybe's undebuted bg was gonna absorb all BTS fans cause not only were they gonna debut with a rap hip hop concept but also have P Dogg as their main producer...I :S

And here we are with that group still not having debuted and P Dogg busy af making music for BTS members solo albums.

  • Not true. Lesserafim has already captured the hearts and minds of two of your erstwhile stalwarts: Ves and doesitneedsaying

They've graduated from Army and are now FEARNOTS. That's Ssamkura (aka Izone) power. :chicken-jump:

You continue your parade of wishful thinking, LOL. I didn't stop being ARMY because I like Le Sserafim. Anyway, hello again Mr "I can't let go of an actual disbanded" group. You should understand what true stanning is. Mine comes with admiration too.

  • YTC was first my comeback (I was heart broken because I was looking forward to a world tour and another comeback) :pepe-sad:   :pepe-puddle:

But now while waiting for OT7 in 2025, I'll be supporting the solo releases. :lovec::chicken-dance:

  • Kpop stans are so used to stanning new groups and moving onto the next trendy thing. That’s why groups have such a short life span. It ain’t only the company’s fault. Kpop stans are a big factor too.

i just watched a video about some dude lecturing armys to see how BTS ain’t special and just as replaceable as the next group because they have a kpop degree lmao. Imagine thinking BTS is your run of the mill kpop group. Because that will mean the whole of kpop should be showing similar success to BTS because contrary to popular belief, a lot of us armys did check out other kpop groups after finding BTS just so we could see if there were other great groups similar or even better. But alas they just didn’t have it.

Also most of us are used to listening to western artistes with long 2-4 years in between albums. BTS going to the military won’t kill this fandom. Their comeback after these two years will be such a huge event.

    don't spread misinformation :pepe-slash:

i like their music and chaewon is queen but i'm not stanning anyone but bts! they are the first and last group i'll ever stan!

It is a peculiar phenomenon I have only seen in Kpop, like you stan 1 artist from an industry so you should stan many more else you are abnormal :melon_think:

  • That's because so many kpop stans view even their faves as disposable. They have the attention span of a fruitfly when it comes to supporting groups.

Also it helps you to see that far too many kpop stan really still don't understand the level BTS are on. BTS are a legendary group. Whether they're gone for 2 years or 20 years, I'm still going to be a fan. I know about kpop because of BTS, I didn't learn about BTS because of kpop.

Many ARMYs have grown up with BTS. Why would we drop our seven fine ass men for some kids lmao.
