Also, I was going to say, aren't the vlives being automatically transferred to Weverse Lives, but I didn't know that some artists aren't on Weverse

I've seen newer groups and some older ones goto YouTube or Instagram live more. Weverse wasn't as good as vlive. Plus some agencies and groups don't feel like transitioning to a new setup, vlive had an air of neutrality to it, it's entirely owned by a third party. Weverse is owned by HYBE so there's a chance from competing businesses that hybe could twist their arms into certain deals/demands considering they run the show. This would be like you owning the driveway your competitor does business on, you'd be a lie to say you wouldn't charge them extra fees or make it harder for them to do business by parking all of your cars there when you obviously don't need to . This is what other agencies will see and likely opt out of weverse. Plus all the older content from groups being available on weverse is questionable especially disbanded or inactive groups.

As an IT Administrator I work on networks and computers. Stuff like this is a growing pain, but also bullshit and a normal thing for businesses to get rid of competition, this was a hostile takeover. Buy out vlive then make a competing app and dissolve it forcing all it's clients and customers to move over to YOU. But alot of the time that goal is shortsighted, hopefully weverse doesn't turn into an app with far less features than vlive and worse user experience and bandwidth. This switch was simply a " You will take this and you will like it or else"

Aww, that's cool! What I love about Vlive is they make it so easy for fans to access. There's a translation on almost all the videos for most artists and it's really easy to find a certain Vlive from a certain year. So that's really nice.

I also like how a lot of the groups upload the same things that they would upload to YouTube so a lot of the stuff from YouTube is on there and it's easier to access. I remember for Twice's page, they have all the old videos but not all of them are available on YouTube so you'd be able to access those really old ones there with captioning.

Vlive also has a real time translator. Usually a group of people hired to interpret live. It was hilarious to hear idols wowing and stuff when they began paying attention to the chat feed and would ask if the translator was there and they would get a response from them 🤣

That's so funny and cool, I didn't know that! I always kind of thought that it was both the employees but also fans pitching in like you could for another person's YouTube video if they allowed and approved it.

* There's a Search button that's a magnifying glass in the top right part of the screen, it's greyed out and hard to see, at least on my screen.

* Search for the group and pick any video

* Click on any video and copy the Link

* Post the link from Vlive and post it here

* Download the SRT for Subs, rename it to the Video name you've downloaded

IF you have a Platform that is providing a free service that is global then the way to shut down competition is to take it over then create a similar platform that only caters for your Company and Partners.
