If it was to save money, then Loona would be down to 4 members.

Maybe the 2 girls saw nu future in the group and they may have had a difference of opinion with management.

Their mistake is trying to get into a group where the members had too much history built up. Choown had no time for them, and other members had their own share of hurt. Only Sangah, who was an added member herself, had time for them and with the group not doing well Sangah had to look for herself first.

I wish Kwon Sohyun had done something like this before. Her young age significantly hurt 4Minute's chances when Sistar , with more adult members, was able to transition into adult images much faster.

Kang Jihyun, better known as Soyou, was a 4Min member but for some inexplicable reason she was cut and Sohyun was added. Sohyun proved to be a huge drag for 4Min. Sohyun should have resigned, or Hyuna should have driven her out, but that was not done. In my opinion Sohyun is responsible for about 70% of 4Min's limiations.

It is too late for Lightsum to go anywhere now, but at least cutting the two members was a correct decision in my eyes. Their absence means LS will transition into a mature image , taking a niche position which might put them into some kind of relevance.

Choown, Nayoung and Yujeong, especially Choown, have a lot of history and anger built up. And the younger members hated Choown, hardly ever going near her. Cube , as always, realized way too late that it was a mistake to de-emphasize the PD48 members and emphasize the newbies, and cut the two younger ones who didn't get along with these three.

That would be all.

In my opinion Sangah was only retained because Choown will NEVER talk to any ex-IZOne members so there has to be someone who has to deal with them. If Lightsum ever wins #1 in any show hosted by an ex-IZOne member, Choown will remain silent and Sangah will be the one doing all the talking.

And Loona effectively cut the only member who was earning her keep. Sometimes companies can be insane.

But in this case I think Cube made the correct decision, even though it is too little, too late.

Different company, and I don't think it's a coincidence that they are the two least popular members on Kprofiles.
