    :pleading:

  • Same. Back as "Marley & Me" was out in the cinema I remember how all of the maybe 50 people in the room cried their eyes out and the only boy in the room between all the teenager-girls looked around himself and was like "Why are you all crying?"

literally the exact movie i was thinking of too :cryingr: marley & me was probably the first movie to make me cry fr fr.

I have a lot other dog-movies where I cried, even if the dog didn't passed away in some of them:

    A dog's way home

    • The first scene who made me cry was the reason that the Police wanted to take the dog called Bella away from her family cause she is half a pitbull and the city's law say no pitbull are allowed. It broke my heart to see the owners, especially the family's son seeing so sad.
    • The scene as Bella became friends to a puma in the forest and raised the puma baby. It was so sad as the puma was injured from trying to defend Bella from other animals. If I remember right the puma didn't survived

    A dog's purpose

    • As the dog from the movie was old and died at the vet
    • The dog was reincarnated into another dog and died as police dog being shot, the police officer who owned the dog was super sad
    • The dog than was reincarnated as puppy of a stray dog but they cought the puppys and in the animal shelter ended them :(
    • The dog got reincarnated again and it was so sad as this dog found love to another dog but couldn't have much off it cause ya know dogs do not live long
    • As the dog than reincarnated again I was super sad for the fact that the dog was chained up in the backyard of someone's home and treated like crap. At this time the dog than escaped and remembered who the first ever owner was and tried to find him. Of cause the owner was a older man in his 50s by now and he never was himself anymore after his dog died as he was a teenager but as he realised the other dog standing in front of him knows all tricks he thought his dog, he was so so happy to realise his beloved dog reincarnated. this was so sad

    Hachiko

    • When the dog went to the train station just to realise that the family's dad would never come back

    Snow Dogs

    • The guy who found out he was adopted and his real mom who passed away left him her dogs, he had trouble getting used to them and the dog who was the most rebelious where he thought it will bite him became super friendly and acdepting to him at the end, but than passed away

Cap & Capper (I heard it has a different name in English but IDK the name, its a old disney movie)

    • As the dog and fox were growing up to become friends, the old woman who rescued the fox puppy had to send it back to the forest and she was so sad. The dog belonged to a hunter who was trying to shoot some fox. The fox was super sad that the dog forgot who he was as the dog tried to hunt the fox down. At the end the dog realised who the fox was and tried to make his owner not shoot the fox but than the dog was shot instead

IDK if there were more movies with dogs that made me cry

  • It's hard to say. I don't really have specific scenarios that make me cry. And it doesn't happen often.

The last one I remember actually tearing up was watching the anime Violet Evergarden.

    ***Spoilers for Violet Evergarden ahead***
