With how melon works now I honestly don't know. If they get a lot of promo and hype build up like TV apps, articles, music show perfs like how SNSD cbs were big kpop events in the past then I guess they could make the top 10 which would already be a fantastic result given they're a 13 year old group with a hiatus of 4 years . Anything like top 5 or even 1st would be beyond amazing.
That's assuming SM doesn't carry on their fucking grudge and not sabotage them again...

It all depends on how well and effective they'll be promoted - not really the strongest point of SM Entertainment.

where have u been? Melon daily chart was reformed. Not even a big group like twice was able to crack into top 10.
It's still a daily chart? So...... Twice have so many releases so some of the "wow factor" is lost on them.

'Wow' factor for big group might make them easier to crack into top30 but not so much on top 10. Seeing how Hyuna with the long awaited comeback also couldnt crack top 10. And, Rollin which went viral took quite a long time to reach top10 and then #2 now. So 'wow' factor doesnt really work well on melon, maybe other charts, but not Melon

Well, that don't change the fact it much more likely for a new realse from a group to get the top on a daily chart than a weekly chart.
