LOL, this is exactly what I was going to say.
either way gettin paid
its more important what brings more money...
good point that, I'll edit it so it's the same profit ₩₩₩ either way
I voted quality but It can be both even Jennie and Lisa endorse a bed l and toothpaste brands. It’s not easy to bag the big brands so it’s better to start with smaller brands, it will help in the future.
But the most important is endorsing brands that suit you, all the pinks are ambassadors of brands which suits them, it’s not the outfits which are wearing them but it’s the opposite.
Companies are accepting every offers for the sake of bragging but most of the time idols look goofy on it.
For me personally, quality. It means MORE: $$$, FLEX, time to flaunt all that capital. This is why I admire hard workers so much, cause I'll always take the easier way out as long as my principles are intact.
we should have a both option, because that would be best for them.
Local brands and deals to bring them up and high value brands at the same time.
Support the local economy but at the same time bring in the brand value.

Then I will go with the "quality" option. Mostly because Idol life is already tough enough for you to spend a big amount of time filming multiple ads and modeling when, in theory, It's just a side-job.
Depends, I think a lot of CF's from local companies could help the idol reach the GP easier because working class people aren't usually looking at Chanel ads for what to buy. However, luxury brand deals pay better and help boost the idols reputation in a way.
that's a really good point about having local CFs, more of your fans get to own those affordable products and feel more connected to their fave. some products even the idols right on the product
whereas with a luxury brand they're not gonna have the idol's face all over their bag so it feels less connected
This is also what I said when they changed it!

Great minds think alike
It depends on the idol’s brand. If they are positioned as boy/girl next door, which type of cf best helps their brand? Or if they are positioned as the cool guy/girl or the luxurious one?
Like Prada is a good brand fit for Jaehyun’s personal brand (classic, simple, expensive) and he’s a good fit for them. But like Jisung for instance would not be a good fit - and it would not be a good fit for his brand. He needs something youthful and fresh.

Disclaimer, never worked in marketing. But for Boy/Girl next door:
Quality: Samsung, Apple. Clothes? Maybe Miu Miu, Loewe. Levi's, Calvin Klein are big without being untouchably luxurious. BG's can hop on Ralph Lauren stuff
Quantity: local skincare (Innisfree or similar), coffee, many local clothing brands I assume, soju eventually. They'd get their face everywhere so may be more suited to Quantity approach
Since the end goal was money, then both would be the same no?
there's definitely pros and cons to each
