Do you think it's a common thing in kpop to not like a group bcoz of their fans' behaviour?

It's common, but If I follow this Cult, I wouldnt stan my faves cause... look at my badges...
-
-
Yeah, it's common
-
That's just jealous behaviour, tbh
Back then, Inner Circles and iKONICS were totally enemies, I definitely have a biased opinion over the issue bcoz I noticed more ugly things said by iKONICS towards Winner members. So it was hard to like them, I ended up giving them a chance later though when it all settled a little and I remember starting to like them.

yeah its pretty common for people to unstan groups or put off checking them out because of their fans
the most common fandoms for this are probably armys and blinks
this is slowly becoming me with skz
The way stays have been moving during the last couple months is really putting me off skz. I still love their music but it just irks me how toxic a chunk of the fandom has become. Especially after the han situation where stays were bending over backwards and admitting to racist acts just to defend him. His apology was actually good and he admitted himself that nothing could excuse his actions. I don't think i'll unstan skz, i'll just distance myself from the fandom for now.

yeah it's pretty much happened in kpop. But i still think it's not fair for the artists

It's ridiculous but sadly common

The amount of people asking who hasn't done extremely racist shit in the past was...concerning. It also means that they're still racist, as they excuse it, and laugh it off so easily...it's gross. Also the mess Stays are in rn, constantly bullying off translators, reporting the bbc...They are not a pretty fandom. Who knows how much worse it will get too, considering skz will probably get bigger.

Oh, I just started to watch Stray Kids' content, didn't know about Han being racist at all, I'll search it up, he was slowly becoming my fav Stray Kids member.
Yup even though it's unfair but I think it's something we all can't help it.

it is and it's not...
depends on the group and their fans

lmao the bbc thing was hilariously sad. How tf do you think you're gonna take down the #1 british news station just because they made your kpop boy look kinda bad. If stays didn't blow up the issue so much and make it trend, the bbc probably would've never covered it. And then they bullied off the biggest stay translators just because they weren't sugarcoating the hj situation. Its pathetic. And then using the mala thing the other day as an excuse to drag atz. I'm terrified for when kingdom starts doing rankings. I'm 100% sure they'll start moving in kingdom like how deobis were moving in rtk.

I'm pretty sure mala isn't even skz specific, it's been used for other things. They aren't the only spicy group my gods, and anyways, mala is the WORST thing to get mad aout. It's 1 word.
Yeah, they really don't take scandals well, or anything well, so I don't know what's going to happen. skz is one of the larger groups rn, however if competition get's better than them, it's going the be a disaster. Kingdom hasn't started and I'm pretty sure they're already going nuts over voting, so I imagine when it actually happens it'll get messy. Plus Mnets penchant for evil editing...Lord help us all.
