Along those 30 songs only 1 them managed to stand out so far which is pcd hush hush.

All the koodoos to IVE and their song writers if they pull it off bc it's not an easy fit.

I think some people are just over the disco retro trend in kpop

I believe IVE approach to it would be different, we will see

I don't mind the sample but it's hilarious to see fans on twitter, reddit etc go on about how they're in love already, and had to download the teaser just to listen again, and omg IVE always has the best music, when the only thing we heard of the song is a song that's already out and already slays, irrespective of IVE. Like praise Gloria if you love the song so much, or at least wait to hear IVE's version lol

now I think it'll probably be good, bc they have smart producers, but kpop stans acting like IVE came up with the I will survive instrumental had me rolling my eyes

Tbh I don't think this is it. This sample is for just the teaser. The real beat will be something Ryan and those 3 Norwegian created along with the Norwegian female singer that's setting the vocal tone. Mad clown working with REI for the flow and Avin slay giving it the final touches

If it's been redone 30 times already, do we really need another one?

I will survive is a classic it gets sampled a lot because of this.

Even in non-retro songs, retro classics get sampled who can forget when Rhianna sampled Tainted Love the Softcell cover unsubtly back in the day in SOS.
