I clicked attention just now and I got 2 ads at the beginning before I could even watch it.

2 ways to increase your views.
You pay for your video to show up as an add. This can be on top of the search list or your home page, or this can happen between videos you are watching.
For example if I have a playlist and youtube is switching from one video to another, they can inset an add, that add would be the music video of someone that paid them to promote their video.
Way 2, is to pay view farms to increase your viewership count.

HYBE needs to step up their game and put their artists mv as an ads. Other than it helps to increase the views rapidly, it also helps the videos to be in the recommendation list whenever people watch kpop mvs.

Some groups have ads, it depends on their company. Pledis buys ads; i never got their ad but it's obvious source music buys them too, fearless has over 100m views and 1.8m likes. Enhypen doesn't have ads, pass the mic has 20m views and 1.5m likes. Bts doesn't have ads, they don't need them lol. Txt doesn't have ads, good boy gone bad has 47m and 2.6m likes.
Apart for bts everyone else should have ads, there's nothing bad in promoting your artists
