Metric or Imperial measuring system? - and why

Metric. It makes sense for 1cm to convert to 1m to 1 km by a easy and logical amount.

Meanwhile converting from 2.94 burgers to 586 bullets to 3 toilets makes no sense unless you carry a calculator around and have a way to look up conversion rate lol.

Metric system is the most legit one and it was invented by french to get rid of imperial bs system

I'm wondering why the metric system is used by scientists and not the imperial system

Fun fact: Imperial measuring system used to be several different systems mashed together, hence the weird conversions.

Ex: surveyor's foot versus the imperial foot versus the Roman foot et&etc.

Also also the Imperial system is anthropocentric, meaning that a foot is generally a foot, a hand is generally a hand. Depends on the person.

I think miles per gallon is a neater way to gauge fuel economy then liters per 100 KM

tho I prefer metric overall when converting volumes, length in general
